16/9/00 Gimbya gets multiple
database support!
Need to install
modules? Well, Gimbya is going to make that a very easy job. The only thing to
do is to select the module you like (in your own admin) and Gimbya will
download and install
the selected module for you! (the same thing can be done with updates!)
Today I have implemented a very special thing again. Multiple database
support. Gimbya now
supports MySQL, MSQL, SyBase and Progress SQL. Also I made it possible to run
more than
one version of Gimbya in one database and it's possible that more Gimbya sites
can share the
user database.

The Gimbya homepage is online! Although this is just a temporary solution. When Gimbya is ready
to run, this page will of course use Gimbya. For now, we will have to do it with this.
